The MR Q SLT has built-in DNA, the legacy of the Microruptor II, synonymous with innovation, reliability and effectiveness. Meridian Medical MR Q SLT combines a powerful Nd:YAG with SLT photoregeneration and includes the possibility of pairing with Meridian photocoagulators. Meridian Medical carefully selects the best European components and technologies to assemble its lasers. We offer our users a robust and reliable unit. The MR Q SLT housing is made of a high-quality aluminum monoblock that provides unique solidity and dust-free electronics.

Usability

The MR Q SLT features a powerful dual laser module with a Nd:YAG laser combined with an accurate SLT photoregenerator. Featuring a 7” touch display control panel. Positioned on both sides of the table, users can easily see the laser parameters and select between laser, burst and offset mode options. The V-split mirror tower (optional feature) enables coaxial Nd:YAG treatments. This tower enables a red reflex resulting in backlighting of the posterior capsule, ideal for premium IOL treatments. The laser head and slit lamp knobs are ergonomically positioned on each side of the slit lamp. The MR Q SLT has been proven effective in the treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma therapy, see “recommended settings” table on page 10.

Safety

MR Q SLT features built-in features that deliver better treatments, safer laser offset, and faster response. Digital anterior and posterior offset allows the user to visualize where the laser focus is active and provides a clear alert when anterior offset is selected, minimizing user error. The control panel requires double confirmation to safely switch between laser modes, and the screen changes color for a visual queue. Electronically controlled offset resets to 100 μm posterior after laser entry on hold; this unique feature minimizes the risk of firing in the wrong location, avoiding the risk of lens pitting. Red reflex(1) resulting from backlighting of the posterior capsule is optimized for on-axis capsulotomy. This feature allows for continuous assessment of capsulotomy integrity, shape, and edge position compared to premium multifocal IOL rings, resulting in a higher success rate and improved patient satisfaction.

Flexibility and comfort

The MR Q SLT features a double column table with a large tabletop. This layout facilitates wheelchair access and provides a perfect workspace for the attending physician. The unique chinrest design ensures a comfortable, relaxed and ergonomic position for the patient during treatment while the user has free access to the patient. The slit lamp offers an optional tonometer pole to use the unit as a diagnostic device. Meridian engineers can access the MR Q SLT remotely, providing a unique online service to assess and provide calibration virtually any time of day.

["post-564","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
